Basic Rider Course (BRC) 20 Hours $200
The Basic Rider Course is a research-based and action-oriented core curriculum designed to teach beginning motorcyclists of all ages the physical and mental skills necessary to ride safely on the street. It includes basic motorcycle operation, maximum effective braking techniques, turning skills, obstacle avoidance maneuvers, classroom instruction and ten hours of "on cycle" training. RiderCoaches for the program are all experienced motorcycle operators who are nationally certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). Student workbooks and helmets are provided by Smart Course.
Upon compeletion of the Basic Riding Course students will be prepared for taking a corner at highway speed, stopping quickly when necessary, avoiding traffic hazards, counter steering, rinding smoothly at high and low speeds, techniques for rainy weather and much more! Learn more!
Experienced
Rider Course (ERC Suite)

No matter how long you have been riding, the Experienced Riding Course is tough enought to challenge your skills. The course is designed as a street survival check-up and is intended for licensed riders who have at least six months or 1000 miles of riding experience. Riders will be exposed to Advanced Cornering Techniques, Counter Steering and Emergency Braking. You will practice the skills you need to ride across country or across town. The ERC is designed to enhance your safety and enjoyment while riding. This course is offered to experienced motorcyclists, of all ages, who own and operate a motorcycle. Graduates of the ERC, who are 21 and older, are entitled to the same benefits as graduates of the BRC.
The ERC was developed to address the critical skills and knowledge needed for relatively low risk, enjoyable on-street motorcycling. The ERC teaches advanced braking and swerving skills and traction management.
Students provide their own motorcycle, proof of insurance and protective riding equipment. Learn more!
Street Smart Workshop (SSW) 2 hours $20
The Street Smart Workshop is a 2-hour, interactive seminar for riders
of all abilities. The workshop helps riders evaluate their own skill
level and outlines the critical knowledge and skills needed to survive
on the street. Topics include attitude, hazard awareness, riding strategies,
riding skills and protective gear. (10 participants required)
Motorcycle dealers, clubs and businesses can schedule a private 2-hour
Street Smarts Classroom Workshop. (25 participants or more qualify for
group discount)
